Mabuhay Radio Internet Linking Project Past Anniversaries
W1M WHISKY 1 MABUHAY - January 18, 2003
The first Anniversary of the MRILP was done on the 17th of January year
2003. Clubs that support the Internet Linking project worked together to
commemorate this special day in the Pinoy ham radio community were a
number of hams and clubs work as one to support one special project, the
MRILP - Mabuhay Radio Internet Linking Project.  The MRILP provided the
community the means to see what the internet has to offer for amateur
radio. A special radio net was created and was controlled by different radio
amateurs from different clubs. A test was created for each of the
conference servers *mabuhay*, *mrilp-ab*,  *mrilp-bc* and *mrilp-mb*.
A special certificate was also created and designed by hams from a
number of clubs. These truly set the pace for all other activities made in
the coming years. Just like what the project states,
" Connecting Communities through Ham Radio and the Internet", it made
sense!
SPECIAL EVENT CERTIFICATE W1M
W2M WHISKY 2 MABUHAY - January 17, 2004
The 2nd Anniversary of the MRILP was celebrated on January 17, 2004.
A special radio net call was also made with a number of radio controllers
from different clubs.  Specific calls were made in the radio net to solicit
excitement and value to the special event certificates that was given away.
A Special Event Certificate was created by VE4SBS and VE7WAZ. 125
stations check-in during the net and 40 Special event certificates was given
to specific stations. So if you were one of the lucky few who got the
certificate, make sure you keep it, for this is one of the rare certificates the
MRILP has given. Then again if you have all of them until the 10th year,
you will be in for a real surprise!
